Am Montag und Dienstag den 21./22. April 2008 wird das Institute für den Schutz von Systemen und Information (EI/SPI) an der TU Eindhoven feierlich eröffnet. Für die Festreden wurde einige Persönlichkeiten der Security-Szene  eingeladen. Es reden:

• David Kahn: Die Eröffnungsrede
• Bruce Schneier: “The fundamental problems in IT security are no longer about technology.”
• Andrew Odlyzko: “We will learn to tolerate and prosper from intolerable insecurity.”
• Ian Brown: “Privacy problems might now topple governments.”
• Whitfield Diffie: “What we consider secure computing today, however rare it may be, will go away completely as web services become ubiquitous.”

Darüber hinaus wird es noch weitere interessante Vorträge und Diskussionsrunden geben. Bestimmt lohnenswert…
